A little something for you…

August 12

For Anni — on the day the world got softer.

August 12. A quiet celebration of you — written in light, memory, and a few true words.

01

Some people make ordinary days feel like they meant something.

02

You are that person for me.

03

This is not a loud party. It’s a thank-you.

04

For the way you listen. For the way you stay.

05

Happy Birthday, Anni.

A quiet timeline

A few moments that still feel warm.

  1. The beginning

    26 November 2023

    When you became familiar

Not with fireworks — just with the soft certainty that talking to you felt easy, and staying felt right.

  2. A small day

    An ordinary afternoon

Nothing dramatic happened. We talked. Time moved slowly. I still remember how light that felt.

  3. In between

    The way you stay

In the quiet check-ins. In the patience. In choosing kindness even when no one is watching.

  4. Today

    August 12

A pause to say what usually stays unsaid: you are celebrated, carefully and completely.

Open when…

A few notes, waiting for the right moment.

A letter for you

Dear Anni,

I wanted this to feel quiet — not like a performance, just like the truth. On ordinary days I don’t always say the things that sit closest to my heart. Today, I’m making room for them.

I keep remembering the small things: the way a simple conversation with you could turn a heavy day lighter, and how your presence made silence feel comfortable instead of empty.

There’s one kind of memory I return to often — not a big event, just you being you. Laughing at something small. Listening like it mattered. Making the room feel safer without trying.

You have a way of making the world softer without announcing it. In the way you listen. In the way you stay. In the kindnesses that never ask to be noticed.

I hope this year is gentle with you. I hope it brings easy laughter, honest rest, and moments that remind you how deeply you are valued — not for what you do, but for who you are.

Happy birthday, Anni. Thank you for being you. The world is kinder because you’re in it — and so am I.

With all my warmth,

Ballu

Happy Birthday, Anni.

You are always my 11:11.
